A message from the Principal Team

Dear Armstrong Creek Community,
(Prinicipal Jess Kelly)
We are proud to share with you that we have been awarded a 'Blue Award' in recognition of our commitment and achievement to School wide Positive Behaviour Support across a number of years. This work has been pivotal in setting up our orderly learning environments and working with students and staff to build a positive culture towards expected behaviours at ACS. We are proud of this achievement as it encourages us to continue embedding our SWPB approaches. Our values or Care Commitment and Collaboration are on show every day at ACS and we proudly celebrate this daily. We are seeing fantastic examples of students showing kindness, working well with others and quality learning.
Thank you to our community for supporting our SWPB work - together we are building a safe and respectful school environment.
NEW OFFICE STAFF MEMBERS
My name is Elise McCooke, and I’m very excited to be joining the Armstrong Creek family as the new Office Manager. I’m a mum of three and If I'm not working, I love spending time with my family and I also enjoy playing netball.
I’m really looking forward to getting to know all the students and families, and being part of such a vibrant and welcoming community. Please feel free to stop by the office if you have any questions, need assistance, or just want to say hello.
Looking forward to a wonderful year ahead!
Hi, My name is Lynda and I am new to the Armstrong Creek School Staff, I will be working in the front office three days a week and look forward to meeting the families and community from Armstrong Creek.
I have been working in School offices for the last 20 years, varying from small regional schools to bigger primary schools in this region.
I am easy going and happy to help where I can, whether it be over the phone, via email or in person at the office, please be patient with me whilst I learn.
When I am not at work I love spending time with my beautiful grandchildren and going for
walks.
CROSS COUNTRY
A huge congratulations to Ziggy in Grade 5, who today not only competed in the regional school cross country—but won his event! Ziggy will now go on to represent at the state championships, making him the first ever Armstrong Creek School student to reach this level. What an incredible achievement! Ziggy, your whole school community is so proud of you. We know you’ll give it your all at the state titles!
