Exciting Celebrations at the Official Opening of Our New Building and Playground
On a beautiful Wednesday morning, we had the pleasure of officially opening our new building and playground, surrounded by sunshine and excitement. The day began with a deeply meaningful smoking ceremony, led by Ganga Giri, marking the significance of the occasion.
We were honored to have Aunty Heather, the talented artist behind the stunning mural in our play area join us for the celebration. It was a proud moment for us all as she was able to see her artwork come to life and be enjoyed by the school community.
The event was further enriched by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Mr. Pukarinen, who was warmly greeted by our students. We were also thrilled to welcome Nina Taylor, the Parliamentary Secretary for Education, and Paul Edbrook, the State Member for Frankston, who joined us in celebrating this exciting milestone and the official cutting of the ribbon.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to make this event truly memorable. We look forward to seeing our new space become a hub of creativity, play, and learning for many years to come!
Junior Camp Adventure at Camp Manyung!
On Thursday morning, the students from Junior Egan, Junior Malcolm, and Junior Mason set off for an exciting adventure at Camp Manyung. Throughout the two day camp, they took part in a range of fun and challenging activities including the flying fox, Risky Kids, low ropes, and crate stacking. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to build confidence, teamwork, and lasting memories!
Enjoy your weekend.
