Children from Prep to Year 2 are encouraged to read or ‘experience’ 30 books with their parents and teachers. Children from Year 3 to Year 10 are challenged to read 15 books.

Meet our illustrator: Anna Walker

This year’s Premiers’ Reading Challenge Illustrator Ambassador is Anna Walker, a multi-award-winning illustrator who uses rich textures and patterns to create her illustrations, drawing on the majesty of Australian native animals to show the wonder of nature.
