NAPLAN RESULTS 2026
We are incredibly proud of our students and staff for their dedication to their learning in all areas of the curriculum. In the case of Literacy and Numeracy we have much to celebrate. We have strong and dedicated leadership teams across Mathematics, Literacy, Wellbeing and Specialist Areas. Other staff members lead our year levels and departments through Professional Learning Communities. Our students are showing a strong commitment to their learning and we see this improvement every day.
But you don’t have to take my word for it, please consider our results comparative to Network, Similar and all schools across the state.
It’s a great illustration of the work committed by our dedicated staff and students. It is also through the hard work and support of our parents that we are doing so well.

YEAR 5 SOVEREIGN HILL CAMP
Our Year 5 students had a fantastic camp experience at Sovereign Hill this week. The students thoroughly enjoyed the range of activities and the opportunity to experience life in the goldfields era, with highlights including the mine tour, gold panning, historical activities and the evening program.
A special thank you to Mrs Versteegh, Mr Coghlan-West, Lachie Wilde, Mrs Owen and Nick Mills for their outstanding support, care and commitment throughout the camp.
We were particularly proud of the behaviour and attitude of our students. Staff at Sovereign Hill made many complimentary comments about our students, noting their excellent manners, respect, enthusiasm and willingness to participate. It was wonderful to see our students representing Warrnambool Primary School so positively.
A very successful camp and a great experience for our Year 5 students.

We need your help!
We are looking for old photographs, documents, memorabilia and school relics that could help us tell the story of Warrnambool Primary School. The photographs and historical displays will be a major highlight of our celebrations.
If you have something you would be willing to loan to the school for the celebrations, please contact the school office. We will take extra care of all items and ensure they are safely returned.
