Urbn Surf Excursion

Year 8 students enjoyed an Urbn Surf excursion as part of their transition program to Middle School in early March. It was wonderful to see the level of engagement of our Year 8 students with more than 150 students opting to participate.

The excursion was designed to further cement student relationships with their peers and build rapport with their teachers. They participated in team building and bonding activities that focussed on the development of safe surf skills, equipping students with basic lifesaving knowledge with the addition of many laughs along the way. Both students and teachers enjoyed the experience with many requests for round two later in the year.

Middle School Easter Competition

Maceo Pascal (Year 9, Everard House) was the winner of the ‘Guess the number of lollies’ competition run by the Middle School during term one. Maceo correctly guessed 195 lollies.

Well done Maceo.

This term we are hosting a ‘Guess the contents’ competition. Students are invited to guess the contents of a jar to win a canteen voucher and the contents of the jar.
