Clyde's Leadership Stars

Gallery Image

On the 3rd of June our school leaders went to visit Cranbourne Secondary to represent Clyde.  Firstly, we were able to meet the Cranbourne Secondary School Leaders and learn their core values -Teamwork, Communication and Integrity.  We played games that reflected these values and were able to interact with other school leaders.  These games included icebreakers to get to know each other and activities that challenged our communication skills.  These activities were hosted and guided by the Cranbourne Secondary school leaders.  They provided some delicious food and snacks, such as hotdogs, hash browns and a variety of snacks and fruit.  Overall, this experience has strengthened our abilities as leaders and widely enjoyed by our school leaders.

Year 6 Fundraising

This year, along with our Graduation Ceremony on the 10th December, our Year 6 students will also be visiting Gumbuya World for their Big Day Out on Wednesday 16th December. Our Year six students and staff have identified some fundraising opportunities over the next few terms to minimise the cost of this celebration. These include:

Term 2 – Slink Apples Fundraiser

Term 3 -  Pancake Day, two slinky apples fundraisers, Clyde’s Got Talent show

Term 4 – Slinky Apples Fundraiser.

Please support our Year six students to finish their final year of schooling with some exciting celebrations.

Clyde's Got Talent

There has been lots of excitement around the school as students prepare for Clyde’s Got Talent in Term 3. Auditions have been taking place, with students eager to showcase their hidden talents. We have been amazed by the confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm shown by everyone who has auditioned so far. Final acts will be announced by the end of term, when all auditions are completed.

Clyde’s Got Talent is a wonderful opportunity for students to share their passions, celebrate their strengths, and support one another in a positive and encouraging environment. We look forward to seeing our talented performers take to the stage next term and share their amazing acts with the students at Clyde! 🎤✨🌟

We wish Namo, from Year 6, and Nesta, from Year 4, the very best of luck as they compete in the Regional Cross Country next week. Both students qualified for the event after placing highly in the recent District event. Namo and Nesta will be competing in Hastings on Tuesday.

Foundation Enrolments

Enrolments for Foundation classes in 2027 are now open online for Foundation (Prep) 2027 for children who will turn 5 years old by 30 April 2027. Please note that we are only able to accept enrolments from families who live within our school zone. The only exception to this is for siblings of students outside of the zone who already attend the school. We will also be scheduling our transition readiness program later this year, usually around the end of Term 3 or the beginning of Term 4.
