GRADE 6 CARWASH

Yep, somehow August seemed like a great time to do a carwash fundraiser for our grade 6s. Anyhow, lucky its them that will be getting wet and not us. Please remember to sign up if you haven't already, last time I checked there was only a couple of spots left!

$10 per car with funds going towards their big day out. 

CURRICULUM DAY MONDAY 17th AUGUST

A reminder of our upcoming Curriculum Day on Monday - no students will be present at school. 

BULLYING NO WAY ACTION WEEK

This coming week is Bullying No Way Action Week. It is Australia’s leading initiative for bullying prevention in schools, and an opportunity for schools to foster a shared understanding of bullying behaviours and highlight strategies for their prevention. We will be noting this week by wearing a splash of purple on Friday. 

COMMUNITY STORY TIME

Community Story Time is back on again this term begining next Tuesday. As we don't have a local library in our community, this is an opportunity to bring any children in the area, to listen to a story and complete a fun activity. We have a guest reader this time from Squishy Minnie Bookstore. We hope you can make it!

PARENT OPINION SURVEY

The Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey will be open for you to complete from next week. This is a valuable tool for us to monitor community feedback and look for areas of improvement across our school. We encourage all families to complete it, please help us by providing your valuable insight. Keep an eye on Compass for login instructions and information on how to complete the survey. 

BOOK WEEK

We are having our Book Week dress up Tuesday 27th August which is always a lot of fun. Parents please join us as we parade on the court in the morning, giving our students a chance to show off their costumes. 

DRESS FOR THE WEATHER

Please be mindful of the cold weather when helping your child prepare their uniform for the day. This really supports our sustainable practices by layering up, being warm and minimising the time spent of the heaters blasting. We have some second hand uniform available at the office for a gold coin donation, alternatively you can jump on Edu-Threads to look at the Winter range.
