Grade 1 Literacy Fun
Our Grade 1 students have been learning all about procedural texts. To put their learning into action, they followed a recipe to make honey joys, carefully adding each ingredient step by step. The classroom smelt amazing! They did a fantastic job following instructions and creating a tasty treat.
Shrine of Remembrance visit
Year 5 and 6 students were invited to the Shrine of Remembrance by the Rotary Club of Monash, Glen Waverley. The students were given the opportunity to learn about wartime history, hear stories of diverse service and experience the ongoing importance of remembrance in Australian communities.
Year 5/6 Mini Fete
After much organisation, discussion within groups, budgeting and planning Year 5/6 students were ready to run their Mini Fete.
There was a variety of stalls selling goodies, games, and services.
Every dollar raised went towards supporting a worthy charity.
It was a fantastic day where the whole school could get involved and support our Year 5/6 students as they show off their creativity, teamwork, and community spirit!
Year 3/4 Sleepover
Last Thursday night, our Year 3/4 students enjoyed a fun-filled school sleepover! The night began with a walk along the track, followed by a delicious dinner of pizza and chips. After setting up their beds and changing into their pyjamas, everyone settled in to watch a movie before the lights went out.
A big thank you to all the staff who attended and helped make the night such a success. It was a great evening spent with friends.
