Principal's Report

We are delighted to have opened our new Sports Centre which we intend to use to expand our curriculum offerings in 2025 to include PE and VET Sport and Recreation. It is an amazing facility that will benefit the school and local community. 

Hawthorn Magic Basketball will be using the venue outside hours to run basketball programs for the local community. We look forward to a long and successful relationship with Hawthorn Magic. 

I am pleased to report that the school’s social media accounts are engaging with our community in a manner that is promoting what happens at the school. We have regular updates on life at Swinburne which recently have included IDAHOBIT day, class excursions, in class activities and lots more about the life of our students. 

As we head into the middle of the year students will be completing their work from units 1 and 3 and sitting mid year exams and the GAT. We wish them well as they learn from these experiences what skills will assist them in future exam periods.
