Brooke's Message

Hello MSS Community, 

It’s hard to believe we’re already almost halfway through Term 1! The weeks have been flying by, and our school is full of smiles and lots of great learning.

Bunji is back!

We’ve loved having Bunji back on campus. He’s been busy making his rounds — greeting students, checking in on classrooms and adding a little extra sunshine to our days. His days this term will be a Monday, Tuesday & Thursday. 

School Captains

 We were also very proud to announce our 2026 School Captains. These students have already shown leadership, kindness and a strong commitment to our school community. We look forward to supporting them as they take on their new roles throughout the year.  Be sure to check out this week’s newsletter for our 2026 student leaders!

6 Week Trial continues

Our students continue to settle into routines, friendships are strengthening, and classrooms are purposeful. Thank you to all our families for your ongoing support — it truly helps make the start of the year so positive.  A reminder that we are continuing to monitor classrooms to ensure every student is settled in the placement that best supports their learning.

As we head into the second half of the term, our students have many exciting learning opportunities and events ahead. We look forward to celebrating these moments with our school community.
