St Mary's Faith & Family 

As the end of the school year draws near, a new year is beginning in the Church's liturgical calendar.

Nov 30th marks the First Sunday of Advent. Advent is a time of waiting and getting ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the coming of God made visible in our world. It is a sacred time to prepare out hearts, and to let more of  God's love into us, as we share that same love with others. 

 There are four weeks of Advent. At school we will have a weekly Advent Assembly (1st, 8th and 15th Dec) at the beginning of theses weeks. The prayer assemblies will hep us to focus out attention on the different themes of Advent; such as hope, peace, joy and love.

The assemblies will be run by different classes each week. 

Nativity Play, Mon Dec 15th 10-11am

The F/1/2s  will lead our final assembly for the year. It will incorporate the Third Sunday of Advent plus the Nativity Play. The whole school will be invited to dress up as an angel or shepherd for the day. Please mark the date in your calendars so you don't miss out on this beautiful rendition of the birth of  Jesus starring our Foundation and Year 1 students.

End of Year/ Graduation Mass,  Thurs 11th Dec 9:15am

For our final school Mass we will farewell our Yr 6s as they embark on new adventures. We also welcome our new Prep families to our school community. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Special Rosary at our Parish Grotto led by Fr. Aurelio. Saturday 6 th December @ 5:30p.m.

Sunday 7th December @10 o’clock. All are invited to come and pray the Rosary with Fr. Aurelio before our Masses on these dates. A wonderful celebration of prayer to begin the Season of Advent.
