Book Week

What a wonderful Book Week we have had! A huge thank you to all our families for the time, creativity and effort that went into creating such fantastic costumes. It was wonderful to see our students arrive dressed as their favourite book characters, with so many imaginative and creative ideas on display.

Our Book Week Parade was a great success, and it was lovely to see the excitement and joy across the school as we celebrated our love of books and reading together. A special thank you to Mr KT for being our wonderful MC and keeping the parade moving with plenty of energy and enthusiasm!

Congratulations also to our Most Creative Teacher Costumes, awarded to Mr and Mrs Earle. What a fantastic effort!

Finally, a big congratulations to our Best Group Costume winners — The Lorax: Olivia, Violet, Georgia, Eadie and Cleo. Your group costume was creative, colourful and certainly captured the spirit of Book Week!

The Giant Book Swap, held on Friday, was also a wonderful opportunity for children to trade in books they had finished reading and choose new-to-them second-hand books to enjoy. It was fantastic to see students sharing their love of reading while giving much-loved books a new home!

Thank you again to everyone who helped make Book Week such a memorable celebration. We loved seeing our school community come together to celebrate the wonderful world of books!
