Father's Day / Special Person's Stall

The Father's Day/Special Person's stall is a wrap. Well done and congratulations to Alicia Madden (Mollie 5LW & Darcy 2TF) and Andita Satiagunawan (Arielle 5MC and Freya 2DW) for taking the lead and co-ordinating the stall. The Parents Association and the whole school community are appreciative of your contribution to FWPS.

Voice Referendum - Saturday 14th of October

The school had been approached as a venue for the Referendum Vote on Sunday the 14th of October. This presents a bonus opportunity to raise some $$$ for FWPS.  The PA are seeking an individual or a team to take the lead for this Event.

Traditionally we have always hosted a sausage sizzle. We have also sold drinks, lolly bags and ice creams. In Pre-covid times, however, the school also sold an amazing array of donated baked goods (whole cakes, cupcakes, biscuits). Options also exist to sell ordered baked goods or even host a raffle.

Are you keen to make a big contribution to the school? If you can’t take the lead but want to co-ordinate a component like the sausage sizzle or raffle - please reach out. The PA committee will be ready to help, but we need to hear from you now.

End of Term Get Together

Everyone is welcome to attend this end of term tradition! Grab a few mates and enjoy a beverage before the school holidays start. Zac at West Footscray Wines has delicious food and drinks, so you can take a moment of adult time before the holidays.  

Finally, in our last committee meeting it was confirmed that the PA roles of President, Secretary and Treasurer will not be filled by the current position holders in 2024. Like every year, this years AGM will have position open. In Term 4 we will be announcing the AGM date and sharing more details about the open roles, and what we / the school could lose if PA positions are not filled.
