Principal's Report

 Principal - Julie Hommelhoff

Assistant Principal - Jacob Johnson

As the 2024 school year draws to a close, we’d like to thank all our families for their ongoing support this year. Despite the bumps along the way, we have finished the year successfully and are now enjoying the final celebrations that the end of the year brings.

As with any end of year, there are people who are part of our school community who move on for a variety of reasons and we’d like to thank these people for the contributions they have made to ETRPS during their time with us.

We farewell a group of families of whom have been associated with ETRPS (and previous communities) for many years. The families were thanked individually at Graduation. We wish you all the best in your new school settings and thank you sincerely for your contributions to our school this year and over the previous years. May your future be bright.

  • Anderson, Briggs, Clarke, Day, Dobell, Evans, Lao, Goldstraw, Hughes, Kennedy-Morgan, Lluz, Mackie, Macumber, Mathers, McCallum, McKee, Melad, Milikins, Murillo, Newton, O'Bree, Rogers, Rorke, Suckling, Swallow-Bell, Thomson, Wakeman.

We welcome many new families in 2025 and are looking forward to working alongside you all to support your children to reach their potential.

We also say all the best to two staff members as they embark on a new journey. To Anthea Mathers - we say thank you for being the most bright, bubbly, humorous member of our staff for many years. The relationships you have built and the laughter you leave behind will never be forgotten. All the best at ETRSS.

To Justin Minchin - a new adventure in to the private education world. We will certainly miss your gentle nature, IT skills and the mini golf championship. Take care and I hope the change brings you everything you're searching for.

Statewide Transition Day

Whole-School Transition Tuesday 10 December between 9am – 1pm was a huge success. It was lovely to see the smiles on students and staff faces, as they made their way to the classrooms in 2024 groups. Our Year 6/7 transition sessions were successful by all accounts and we thank our Secondary School teams for supporting our students so well.

Last Day of School Early Dismissal 1.30

Students will be dismissed at 1.30 on Friday 20 December.

Country bus students will be picked up at 1.10pm.  Please note: Town buses are not running on this day.

Enjoy the holidays, stay safe and we will see year 1-6 students return on Wednesday 29 January and Prep students will begin on Thursday 30 January.

End of Year Concert

Our students showcased what they'd been learning in Performing Arts at a special concert on Wednesday 11th of December in the Centre. We had the Masked Singer, our 2025 leaders were elected and presented to the community, so much fun was had by all. We thsnk Kiwanis once again for the Terrific Kids awards.

We wish you all a very happy holiday period and a very Merry Christmas. See you in the New Year - Wednesday 29 January 2025.
