Annual College Quiz Night

Support College Quiz Night

St Virgil's College is holding our Annual College P&F Quiz Night. This is a highlight of the year and a main fundraising event.

We are calling on our community to please support this important event. We would love to see as many Old Virgilians as possible at the event enjoying the night as a collective community or supporting it through sponsorship, the donation of prizes and/or services. Please see letter below from Principal Jon Franzin.

This year, we are raising funds to upgrade the Junior School Hall and to further develop the Wellbeing Space in the Senior School.

Our Hospitality students will serve refreshments from our licensed bar and also cater on the night with a variety of pizzas as part of their VET training.

Tickets and pizzas can be booked online through the link below. First in, best dressed!

Dear Friends of St Virgil’s College,

RE: College Quiz Night – Friday 14 August 2026

St Virgil’s College, in partnership with our Parents & Friends Association, will be hosting a College Quiz Night on Friday 14 August. This event is an important opportunity to bring our community together while raising funds to support resources and initiatives that enhance the educational experience of our students.

To ensure the success of the evening, we are seeking the support of local businesses and community partners through the donation of goods and/or services. Items such as vouches, prizes or experiences would be gratefully received and will contribute directly to the evening’s fundraising efforts.

All funds raised will support the College in providing resources and opportunities beyond those covered by government and standard funding, helping us to continue delivering high-quality education while keeping fees as accessible as possible for families.

In recognition of your generosity, your business will be acknowledged through our College communication channels, including our newsletter and social media platforms, reaching a broad and engaged community.

Donations can be delivered to the College Front Office, or we would be pleased to arrange collection at a time convenient for you.

If you would like to support this event or require further information, please contact the College on (03) 6249 655 or email at parentsandfriends@stvirgils.tas.edu.au

Thank you for your ongoing support of St Virgil’s College and our community.

Yours sincerely,

Jon Franzin
