Alma Mater
Celebrating creativity, connection and the stories that shape our College community.
The July edition of the Alma Mater is now available to read online and will be arriving in letterboxes throughout the coming weeks.

In this edition, we shine a spotlight on the College's vibrant Arts program. We take you behind the scenes of our Senior School Art Club, where paint flies and creative juices flow. We speak with Visual Art students about what fuels their artistic journeys. We delve into the Drama department's Verbatim Theatre project, which captures diverse perspectives on the Tassie Devils stadium debate through powerful, real-life voices. We also chat with a St Mary's College teacher – and alumna – whose incredible artworks have recently featured in major exhibitions.
In addition, we connect with staff and alumni to hear their reflections on their time at St Mary's College and the life experiences that have shaped who they are today.
The Alma Mater is our biannual publication, thoughtfully curated for alumni, students and families of the College. Each edition features inspiring stories and updates from current and former staff and students, along with the latest news from the College. It's our way of staying connected with our alumni community – and of helping you stay connected to your alma mater. No matter when you graduated, you're part of the SMC story!
