Hi parents, guardians, staff, and friends!
Welcome to Week 10 of Term 2!
Where did all the days go? Can’t believe we are just one week away from term end! This week has flown past, and we are getting very excited for the upcoming school holidays.
The theme for this week is “Music Week”. We started the week off by creating a guitar instrument out of paper and designing a piano – the children loved the activity. Also, every morning we have a variety of music-themed colouring sheets – we even continued with our colouring competitions! Outside during the afternoons, tennis has taken over this week as being the favourite sport to play along with gagaball becoming popular. While in the playground, children have been showing their new skills on the monkey bars - especially prep children. This week has been quite chilly outside, so we started to bring the children inside earlier than usual.
This week’s Pupil of the Week is Cody Grindrod for showing braveness when attending TheirCare and always having a big smile on his face. Well done, Cody! You should be so proud of yourself. 😊
We are so proud to say that the prep children have been amazing and have shown great confidence walking over to TheirCare every morning and afternoon. It has also been amazing to see preps helping each other and making sure their classmates aren’t being left behind, especially if they are new to TheirCare. Please note that they leave their classroom at 3:15pm so they have enough time to transit, and they are being supervised by one of our TheirCare staff. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to discuss them with us.
As the term is about to end, we are getting closer and closer to our Winter Holiday Program! As mentioned last week, we have four massive excursions for this Holiday Program where we will be going to the Movies, Super Park, Rolling Skate Arena and even going to the 3D Dino Museum! Not only that, but we have also prepared a variety of activities that surely the children will love! For sure we will be having a fun time during holiday program!
