Welcome and overall learning summary

Welcome to another exciting term of learning and celebration in Level Two. We would like to extend a warm welcome to all the new families who have recently joined and welcome back all our familiar faces.

Throughout the upcoming term, Learners will continue developing their reading skills through the InitiaLit program, focusing on inferring, finding the main idea, and summarising texts. In Writing, they will create poetry and information texts while learning about verbs, adverbs, and prepositions, and exploring new spelling patterns. In Maths, students will enhance their understanding of multiplication, division, measurement, geometry, and probability through practical activities and problem-solving. Additionally, they will study the connections that people have with important local and global landmarks, learn about different types of bullying, and deepen their understanding of the school's values and resilience skills.

The Year 2 team are excited about the learning that will take place this term, and the continued growth we will see in all our students. We hope you have an enjoyable Term 3 with your child!
