Friday. Excursion Day.

When I woke up, I was as excited as a teenager about to wrestle.

At school FWPS, West Footscray

I was only there for like, two minutes and then we were off.  As the bus zoomed surprisingly fast, I wondered when we were stopping.

Botanic Gardens

Once we were there we dropped our bags off our backs and had fruit break.  I had a weird shaped carrot which was big on one side, big on the other and thin in the middle, like a barbell. Once we finished our fruit we walked and walked and walked.

Oak Lawn, Botanic Gardens

After that looooong walk we finally arrived at the Oak Lawn.  There were huge trees and rich green grass.  It was like it was still autumn.  We followed the lawn and we were in like jungle in the east.  We walked about 100,000 miles until we were at the Tropical Glasshouse.

Tropical Glasshouse, Botanic Gardens

In here it was as warm as a blue fire with a coat on.  All the plants seemed fine but a pitcher plant could eat me whole.

Deep Botanic Gardens

We walked across some plants including cactus. He was as sharp as a machete with an extra sharp boost and a bonus blade.  After this long walk we were with two adults named Jakobi and Kokoda.   Jakobi told us about Bunjil and some other Australian myths.  He then took us to another person named Kokoda.  She took us on, you guessed it, another ten thousand kilometres.  Then we got guided to the Bunya Bunya Tree.  It was as wide as a 30 year old man who ate a bit too many hamburgers.  It was so big.  When all of us wrapped around it, half of the tree still hadn’t been touched!

Ochre Hut, Botanic Gardens

Then Kokoda took us on another 20000 mile walk to a rough, hard, wooden hut.  There she gave us brownish coloured rock paint called ochre.  The reason it’s earthy is because it’s just grinded rock.  That was a lot of fun.

Then we caught the bus home.  What a day!

The End.
