Principal's Message to the School Community

Proposed Industrial Action – Tuesday 24 March 2026

I am writing to inform parents and carers that the Australian Education Union (AEU) has notified schools of a proposed full day stop work action scheduled for Tuesday 24 March 2026.

Staff members are required to advise me of their intention to take part in this action by 5:00 pm on Friday 20 March 2026. Once this information is received, I am required to communicate with parents and carers by 2:00 pm on Monday 23 March 2026 regarding the number of teaching staff who will be taking action and the impact this may have on the normal school program.

Depending on staff availability, there may be modifications to learning programs or supervision arrangements on the day. Details of any changes and the arrangements put in place to support students will be shared with families once confirmed.

If these actions or any resulting modifications are likely to cause you difficulty, particularly for families where parents or carers are critical service workers, you are encouraged to contact the school directly so we can provide appropriate support where possible.
