Division Cross Country

Division Cross Country was held on Wednesday, 27 May at Gilbert Park. Park Ridge had 6 students qualify for the event after finishing top 10 at the previous round. It was genuine “Cross Country Conditions” with rain, wind and mud. Here are the results:

Areet B 4th 

Abbey L 8th 

Sophia K 24th 

Aleeyah L 13th 

Max C 20th

Layla M also qualified but didn’t compete as she was on holiday.

Well done to all competitors in trying conditions and good luck to Areet and Abbey who have qualified for Regionals.

Year 5/6 Winter Sport

All Year 6 and selected Year 5 students recently competed in the Rowville District Winter Sport Round Robin tournament. Students are placed into sports and had been training in their Year 5/6 sport time since Term 1 to take on the seven other schools in our district. We have had some amazing results:

A Footy Team – Runners up

B Footy Team – Runners up

A Netball Team – Runners up

Mixed Netball Team – 6th place

B Girls Netball team - = 5th place

Girls Soccer Team – Champions

Boys Soccer Team – 3rd place

Girls Teeball Team – 5th place

Boys Teeball Team – 5th place

A1 Lawn Bowls Team – 6th place

A 2 Lawn Bowls Team – 6th place

B1 Lawn Bowls Team – 8th place

B2 Lawn Bowls Team – Runners up

I’d like to thank parent/car helpers Ursel, Felicity, Hunter, Damo, Anthony and Carly who assisted with coaching, umpiring and scoring. Apologies if I’ve missed anyone.
