Barbara and our new Wellbeing Space!

Barbara has had a lovely first full week at school. She came in on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and had a sleepy day off on Wednesday.

Barbara visited a few different classrooms and had some lovely visitors in the wellbeing space as well. Here is a picture of her with her new friend Jaylen. Jaylen was so lovely , quiet and gentle that Barbara ended up falling asleep next to him.

It’s hard work being a Therapy Dog, especially when everyone loves you so much! Barbara is very happy with how everyone is helping to keep her safe and comfortable by being quiet and gentle around her and letting her have a break when she has her vest off. 

Barbara feels safe, respected and knows that everyone is being responsible, picking up left over food and following the rules around spending time with her. So, thanks for making her first week such a great experience, she looks forward to seeing you next Monday.
