Term 2 in Italian

Preps

Students continue to practise simple vocabulary in Italian such as greetings, numbers (0 - 10), colours, immediate family members, some pets and learning the days of the week.

Year 1 and 2

Students have broadened their vocabulary to include topics such as greetings, numbers (0-20), pets, days of the week, family members, learning to express some feelings and following basic instructions in Italian.

Year 3 and 4 

This term, Year 3 and 4 students are exploring Italian by learning the alphabet, syllables, and sounds, along with action words to express their likes and daily activities.

Year 5 and 6

This term, Year 5 and 6 students are building their Italian language skills by creating sentences about their hobbies and free time using a sentence-building method.
