Parents' Association and School Council News
School Council News
Our next school council meeting will be held in May and we are beginning the process of reviewing our current school policies to ensure we are compliant with VRQA regulations. Sandringham College maintains a policy register and policies are reviewed on a regular cyclical basis - or when required by changes in law, Ministerial Orders and/or Department of Education guidelines. Parents/carers and students will be advised when there are significant changes to our current policies.
Policies are tabled at school council meetings for review by student/staff and parent representatives before being endorsed by our School Council.
Many of our policies are available on our school website -
Parents - Calling all volunteers and ... LET'S GET TOGETHER!
In term one we held our first Sandringham College Parents Association meeting. At the meeting we decided on key actions for 2024 and I would like to thank the following parents for volunteering to lead an activity for this year.
Thank you to all parents who turned out for our working bee at Bluff Road on Sunday 14th April. We got so much done in the garden and in tidying up in and around the campus. You're contribution was invaluable!
We are awaiting a Bunning's date for the Sausage Sizzle but are now inviting parents to attend a parent function. We haven’t had a social event since Covid so come along for a parent catch up which is long overdue!!. This is a casual function and all parents are welcome. Come along and get to know other parents in the same year level as your child and from the College. Parents are invited to bring their own nibbles or order pizza (but no BYO please). We are asking parents to indicate if they would like to attend so that we can have some year level identification to help you to connect with others.
FRIENDS OF PERFORMING ARTS WE NEED YOU!!!
In keeping with one of our key values, COMMUNITY, one of the special aspects of Sandringham College’s Musical Production is the support we enjoy from alumni and parents. The passion, commitment and expertise of the extended school community helps to ensure a professional and memorable theatre experience.
Please fill out the M.Form and we will be in contact with dates and times. You can donate as much time as you have!
