INTERMEDIATE and SENIOR BOYS VOLLEYBALL:

On Tuesday, 28th of April our Intermediate & Senior boys volleyball teams made the trip to Mildura for the LMR volleyball tournament. 

The Intermediate team consisted of Mitchell, Tyler, Leo, Oliver, Charlie, Oscar, Jed & Madden. Their first game was against Robinvale going down 2-0. Second game was against Weeroona College also going down 2-0. In the third game the boys had improved and almost managed to win the second set however still going down 2-0. Best players on the day were Leo, Madden & Charlie.

The Senior boys team consisted of Jackson, Hugh, Beau, Kai, Hudson & Sam. They came up against some very tough competition. Losing the first game to Robinvale 2-0, the second game to Bendigo Senior 2-0 and going down 2-0 to Mildura Secondary. 

The boys improved as the day went on with the best players on the day being Hugh, Sam & Jackson.

INTERSCHOOL - YEAR 8 NETBALL:

The Year 8 netball team delivered an outstanding performance throughout the day, showcasing not only their talent but also their determination and teamwork. It was truly wonderful to watch them play, with each player contributing positively on and off the court.

As the day progressed, it was clear how much their skills improved. The team demonstrated excellent resilience and a willingness to learn, which was incredibly impressive.

Their efforts were rewarded with some fantastic results. The team secured a thrilling one-goal victory against Swan Hill Secondary, followed by a strong three-goal win over Cohuna. Although they faced a tough match against MacKillop and came away with a loss, their determination and sportsmanship never wavered.

Overall, the team should be very proud of their performance. Their growth, effort, and positive attitude made it a memorable and successful day of netball.
