Parent Helpers Course  Term 2—2026

Please note, this will be our only course for Term 2 

Our parent helper community forms an integral part of our teaching and learning programs. Since 2014, we have had over 500 helpers complete our Parent Helper Induction Course. This has assisted in ensuring consistently high expectations are met, and respect and confidentiality to all is adhered to, in line with our school values.

Following on from our Parent Helper Course sessions held in Term 1 this will be our only session for Term 2 for those who have not previously attended and wish to help out at the school in any capacity. This includes (but is not exclusive to) regular and one-off activities involving: 

Sporting teams, ELOs, Excursions , Camps, Swimming, Classroom Help and School based activities.

The purpose of the course is not to assess competency but to ensure consistency of understandings and direction between school (teachers) and home (parents). Even if you work in the education profession or hold a Working With Children Check or Criminal Record Check, we require everyone to participate in the course regardless.

Parent Helpers Course Session - for those who have not previously attended a parent helper course! 

This session will be held in the staffroom and will run for approximately 45 minutes. 

Friday 15 May 2:30pm - 3:15pm
