We would like to extend a big thank you to Bec Ciavarella for her work in organising our Mother's Day Stall last Friday and also to the members of our community who volunteered to help on the day.  The students had a wonderful time shopping and we hope the mums, grandmothers and other special ladies in our St Augustine's community enjoyed their gifts that were chosen with love by the students.

Important Information Regarding the GAT

Families of students enrolled in a VCE Unit 3 and/or 4 subject will receive correspondence from the College this week regarding arrangements for the 2026 General Achievement Test (GAT).

Students will receive their individual GAT timetable and any approved special provision information next Friday, 22nd May, during TA time in the POP Auditorium.

It is important that students attend this information session to ensure they are fully prepared and aware of their arrangements for the GAT on Tuesday 16th June.

If students are absent on the day, they should see Mrs Sharon Darling, VCE Coordinator, as soon as possible on their return to school.

The VCAA GAT Information Brochure is attached below. We strongly encourage both parents and students to read through the brochure carefully, as it contains important information about:

  • the purpose of the GAT

  • test structure and timing

  • approved materials and equipment

  • rules and procedures

  • special examination arrangements

  • student expectations on the day

School Drop-off and Pick-up Times

Families are requested to please ensure students arrive at school between 8.30 and 8.45am and arrange for pick up before 3.30pm each day.

Please note that no supervision is available prior to 8.15am and students should not be arriving to school prior to this time.  We thank you for your understanding and efforts in this space.
