Events, Openings and Meetings Complete so far this year

Thanks to all the parents who have joined the following events: 

  • Prep parent welcome event and our year level socials at West Footscray Wines.
  • Thanks to all the parents who came and supported the second hand unform shop's first opening, through your volunteering to help the stall run, and also sort clothing donations to making purchases. 
  • Thanks to the parents who joined us for our first PA committee meeting of the year this week. It was great to have parents from both our junior and senior year levels come along. You don't have to be a PA member to attend. At our next meeting it would be great see more parents / carer's with prep children. Everyone is welcome! Our next committee meeting will be held on Monday, 31 March in the evening.

Second Hand Uniform Shop - 4th of March at the Prep Welcome Picnic

A reminder - we sell FWPS beanies that prove very popular in the cooler weather - $15. We also have a limited supply of iron on green school logo transfers for purchase - $1.

The shop offers payment by cash, card and payment via your school bonus.

Note: The prep picnic opening will focus on offering prep sizes only. 

 

We are always seeking parents and carers to help run stalls - we can't open without volunteers!

Easter Raffle Fundraiser 

The traditional FWPS Easter Raffle will be run in the final weeks of Term 1. We support the school who runs the raffle and it is a great fundraiser event. 

 

If you are able to, please consider purchasing an item to donate to the raffle. Easter theme is the only ask. For those new to FWPS, in past years our families have donated generously as we have been able to create a prize per class. We will be providing details on when the office can accept donations in next week's newsletter and the school will publish ticket details via compass soon too.

 

Mother’s & Special Person’s Day Stall
