Heavenly Father,
We ask your blessing as we begin this new school term together.
Fill our classrooms with laughter, curiosity, and kindness. Guide our teachers with wisdom, bless our parents with patience, and surround our students with your protection and love.
Help us to walk in the footsteps of Jesus each day—supporting one another, learning together, and caring for our school and local community.
Amen
At our school, we cherish the moments where we can pause as a community to connect with God and reflect on our faith. Prayer occurs in our school everyday. One of these special traditions is the praying of the Angelus. Traditionally prayed at noon, the Angelus is a beautiful, centuries old Catholic prayer that commemorates the Incarnation, the moment God became man in Jesus Christ through Mary's "yes." As a school we will be praying the Angelus daily. In the midst of our busy school day, our students and staff will stop what they are doing, quiet their minds, and spend a few moments in shared prayer. It is a wonderful daily reminder for all about God’s constant presence in our lives, teaching the value of mindfulness, gratitude, and daily reflection.

“To protect creation, to protect every man and every woman, to look upon them with tenderness and love, is to open up a horizon of hope; it is to let a shaft of light break through the heavy clouds; it is to bring the warmth of hope!” ~ Pope Francis.
Catholic Mission is the Pope’s international mission agency in Australia. We work with communities to support local projects in education, healthcare, and spiritual care. Socktober invites Australian students to engage in Faith in Action to support children in need. We invite our students to wear fun "crazy" socks on Friday, 30th October and make a donation to this worthy cause.

This year our mission focus in Malawi. By learning about the challenges these children face in Melawi, students will have the opportunity to growin empathy and global awareness.

Theo has already embraced the spirit of giving, donating his tooth fairy money to Catholic Mission. Thank you Theo!!
