Health & PE

This week in Health and PE all classes enjoyed a fun session of games, as voted on by the students. It was a great way to finish the term, celebrate our learning and enjoy some fun together!
District Sports Day – a big well done to all of our Grade 3 to 6 students who attended Wesley Hill Recreation Reserve last Friday. Our netball and football teams played a great day of matches, showing wonderful team work, amazing skills and most importantly, enjoying themselves. It was a bonus for our students to come away with many wins for the day but as we all know, the achievement was working together, enjoying some physical activity and having fun! Our Grade 3/4 students enjoyed participating in basketball, netball and football clinics throughout the day, strengthening their skills in these areas. Congratulations to all of our students for representing yourselves and our school beautifully - I was extremely proud of you all! Thank you also to teachers Grace and Tobie for joining us on this day and supporting our students so well.
What’s Coming Up – Term Two:
*Friday 1st May – Grades 3 to 6: District Schools Cross Country Day (Wesley Hill)
*Friday 8th May – Grades F to 2: District Tabloid Sports Day (Wesley Hill)
Permission notes including more information about these events will be sent out via PAM – look out for these. Families are always welcome to come along to support the students at these events!
