31/3/26 – Lowanna College Athletics Carnival (all students)

Great job to Year 12 student Caleb for his constant work behind the scenes. Caleb was also recently appointed to the U18s Gippsland Power Squad.


Well done to the nine students who were selected in the U18 squad lists.


Well done to two of our athletes, Liam and Keira, who were selected for the State Basketball Team and emergency spots.




Well done to all students who competed in the Under 16 and 18 Div 3, 4 and 5 Junior Country Championships.
Congratulations to students Marah, Shayla and Kayla for winning the U18 Girls Div 3 competition and to Patrick, Troy, Sabit, Cody and Lee on their U16 Div 6 win.




Congratulations to all Lowanna students who were selected for the Gippsland All -Stars Team and good luck for the season!






A number of Middle and Senior LSA students in action (below) at the Volleyball Competition recently.






Well done to the Lowanna Year 8 Cricket Team on their West Gippsland Division win.


Pictured below is Year 12 LSA student Xavier who was recently named as a 'Top Prospect' for this year's AFL Draft.


Congratulations to current Lowanna College and former LSA students Kye, Haydn and Wyatt who were in the of the Moe C-Grade Cricket Premiership Team!


Well done to Year 11 LSA student Hamish for being named in the A Grade Team of the Year at the CLV Presentation Night.


Well done to current Lowanna College and former LSA student Darcy who was presented with the Lindsay George Medalist Award (Young Cricketer of the Year) at the CLV Presentation Night.


Congratulations to Year 12 student Aiden who recently received a medal at the CLV Presentation Night for the Highest B Grade Bowling Average with 23 wickets @ 9.35. He was also named in the B Grade Team of the Year. Well done Aiden!


Well done to the students who attended the Gippsland Swimming earlier this term. Good luck to students Zane and Jasper who will compete at the State Finals in April.
