Showcase of Learning - Year 6
Year 6 certainly earned a vote of confidence during their Chapel presentation on Australian government and democracy!
The students shared what they have been learning about democracy, the three levels of government, Parliament House and the important roles that help our country function. They also explained how laws are made and why voting is such an important part of Australian society.
The audience enjoyed an interactive quiz that put everyone's knowledge to the test, with plenty of hands going up from both students and parents keen to join in.
We are very proud of the confidence and enthusiasm Year 6 showed as they presented their learning. They did a fantastic job and should be congratulated on the way they engaged and informed our school community.
100 Days of Kindergarten!
We are excited that Kindergarten will be celebrating 100 Days of Kindergarten on Thursday 18 June!
Kindergarten students are invited to dress up as someone or something they consider brave, whether that’s Mum or Dad, Jesus, a superhero, or another inspiring role model.
Throughout the day, students will take part in a variety of engaging activities that encourage courage, confidence, and resilience.
Get ready for Jersey Day!
On Thursday 25 June, all students are invited to wear their favourite sports jersey or team shirt to school and bring along a gold coin donation. All funds raised will go towards purchasing new sports equipment for our students to enjoy during sport, PE lessons, and playground activities.
We look forward to seeing a wonderful display of jerseys and team spirit as we come together to support this exciting initiative from our Year 6 students!
Love to Sing?
We had our very first choir practice last Monday! And it was fantastic hearing all those voices singing together.
A reminder that anyone is welcome to come along, so if you love singing, we’d love to see you there!
