National Simultaneous Storytime

Today at St Helena's our classes took part in National Simultaneous Storytime. Students and staff were encouraged to wear blue to school as the title of this year's book is called Bowerbird Blues.

At 10:00am classes stopped to either have the story read to them or to take turns in reading the book to their classes.

Mrs Rocca created a display outside the library with all various tones of blue on display. Mrs Viola put together a powerpoint all about bowerbirds and how they build their bowers.

Bowerbirds are attracted to blue items, students had to explore the school on a treasure hunt looking for various pictures of blue items.
