Principal Report

Dear Parents and Friends,
What a great start to term we have had! Not only with the weather, but straight back into routines and so much focused learning.
There are a lot of events on this term, I know you will keep your eye out for dates in the newsletter and class emails.
Save the Date
On Friday 7th November, 2:15pm, we will be celebrating 50 Years in Education for Irene Sharp. All parents are invited to come along and join us in this celebration of service.
Congratulations
Congratulations to Michael and Marja, and big brothers Oliver and Noah, and big sister Lumi on the arrival of Luna in the school holidays!
Congratulations to all those students who represented St. Joseph’s at District Athletics last Friday. We wish Millie and Saxon good luck this Friday at Regionals.
Staffing Update
As you may be aware over the holidays, we were able to finalise our Performing Arts teacher for this term. Sarah Lockwood has begun the term with energy and big plans for the end of the year!
Trish Shaw has made the big decision to take leave in 2026. This has not been an easy decision for Trish, and I know that she will be missed. We wish Trish and Pete all the best for 2026.
