P&C News
Tuesday night 13th August 2024 we held our Week 4 PandC meeting.
We welcomed another new face to the meeting and we extend this welcome to many more new faces in the coming meetings. Term 3 has started as a busy one, with more to come.
We were given a run-down of things happening at Camden High, as follows:
- NAIDOC celebrations were held in week 1
- Sydney South West athletics was held and 7 students will go on to represent at the CHS carnival.
- Camden Challenge Cup, a High Performance and Gifted Education (HGPE) initiative was hosted at Elderslie High School.
- Support Unit students are competing in Boccia and Ten Pin Bowling tournaments.
- Science week activities are occurring during week 4.
- Camden High School featured strongly in the local launch of Education Week at Camden Public School. Student artworks are displayed along the CPS fence and in public spaces. So please make sure you check them out (if you haven’t already)
- PSA Schools Recognition Week is August 26th - 30th, and recognises the work and contributions of our non-teaching staff. Please make sure you thank all the non-teaching staff for all the extra work that they do to make the education of our students a success.
Don’t forget, that if you have any uniform item concerns, please, please, email the uniform supplier via their email address camden@yerongauniforms.com
Also, remind your child (or yourself) that the app STYMIE is there if they need to notify about any ‘issue’ or concern (See previous newsletter for the information about the app if needed).
Please feel free to contact us if there is anything that you would like us to raise with the school, or just want to learn about the PandC. Or better yet, come to a meeting!
Our email address is camdenhighpandc@gmail.com
We hope to see many new faces next meeting.
Meeting Dates are Week 4 and 9 of each term and the next date is as follows:
