Major Projects & Porfolios

Year 12 Industrial Technology & Year 12 Design and Technology

Thank you to Mr O’Brien and Mrs Stipanovic for the support time being offered to ensure that our major projects and portfolios are completed. Students have been utilising this support before and after school, during break times and holidays.

Senior Workshop time

Senior students have been offered Monday afternoons 3pm-4pm as an extra opportunity to work on their major projects in the workshop space with their teacher. The above completion dates are fast upon us, so it is vitally important that students be working on both PROJECT and PORTFOLIO consistently between now and then. As a guide, students are expected to work at least one hour a week on their portfolios.

NAIDOC week activities

During this week students were offered a range of activities to celebrate our indigenous culture.

Year 10 Food Technology prepared fresh lemonade and mini cheesecakes using lemon myrtle. Staff generously donated the lemons.

Year 11 Hospitality were given the challenge to create and enhance a dish using native herbs and spices. Students chose a range of recipes including flat bread, focaccia, scrolls, pasta and blinis.

Year 11 Hospitality and Year 12 Community and Family Studies classes tasted a range of Native bush teas by Goanna Hut.

Stage 5 - Subject Selection

Our Year 8 students have been shown our subject selection information during their Technology Mandatory class. The information can be viewed via this presentation.

Students can pay weekly, per term or as a lump sum payment. If financial hardship exists, please don’t hesitate to contact the finance department within the school.
