SCHOOL ATHLETICS CARNIVAL-Friday 21st June

In just over a week, we will be having our athletics carnival (Friday 21st June) at Walcha Central. An information note was sent out recently through the COMPASS Portal to provide all the necessary details. To guarantee the success of our carnival, we are in great need of additional volunteers. Furthermore, the P and F kindly request assistance from any volunteers who can help with the operation of the barbecue and the stall they will be managing throughout the day.

If you can assist in any way, even if it is only for an hour, please let the school know.

Regrettably, the student's readiness for the carnival will be affected by the ongoing renovations on the middle and upper playgrounds. Nevertheless, we intend to proceed with the high jump event prior to the athletics carnival.

Yesterday, we successfully completed our practice high jump sessions. Due to the forecasted cold conditions early next week as well as expecting a clear day with a top temperature of 14 degrees tomorrow, the official high jump event for our athletics carnival is scheduled to take place tomorrow (14th June) on the top playground.

We extend our best wishes to all the competitors!

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook

St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook and it has been updated after the school swimming carnival held recently. This book is designed to give all members associated with our school a clearer understanding of when our school conducts our various sporting carnivals, the processes/qualifying times involved for students who want to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events as well as an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child may want to undertake in their respective sports.
