FROM GARDEN TO GARLIC BREAD

Did you try the garlic bread at our market stall last week? If you did, you were part of a special journey – from our school garden to your home dinner table!

It all started back in April last year, when we planted a bed of garlic in the Italian garden. We watched the little green shoots grow taller and stronger, and by November it was time to harvest our fresh organic garlic.

Last week, Lee from Snack Shack used that very same garlic to make tasty garlic bread for our harvest market stall. If you bought a loaf, you helped complete the journey from garden to table.

What a delicious way to celebrate our hard work – thank you and congratulations to all the student helpers involved in this special process.

And that’s not all – our latest garden stall also featured some truly perfect cauliflowers and we raised a whopping $164 to plough back into our school gardens.

Big thanks go to sustainability leader legend Tuesday for helping to run the stall and to you for supporting our green thumbs!
