God Bless You Mrs Gliddon
This week a chapter of Curiosity closed as we said farewell to our founding Director, Mrs Jacqui Gliddon. We celebrated Jacqui's time with us at Curiosity, from the very beginning to what it is today, and everything in between. There were stories to tell and memories to reflect on amongst tears, smiles, laughter and lots of hugs!
The day started at Worship where as a school wide community, we thanked Jacqui for her contribution in creating what we know as Curiosity today - a place where everyone is welcome and where the love of learning is shared amongst our youngest of learners, families and staff.
Our Curiosity children put on their "brave" as they performed a special song for Jacqui on stage - our hearts sang and we were all so proud! We then returned to Curiosity for a special morning tea filled with treats the children had excitedly prepared, before presenting Jacqui with a gift, "the Curiosity Tree of Life", where each child was represented with their thumb print and name, creating the leaves of the tree.
Proverbs 3:18
"She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; Those who hold her fast will be blessed."
Looking ahead, we are blessed to be able to continue to write the story of Curiosity. A new chapter can mean new beginnings and new opportunities, and with the foundation that has already been laid, as a staff Team, we look forward to continuing on the path He has planned for us.
With every blessing,
Mrs B
