Bachelor of Pre-Medicine, Science and Health

Whether you’re aiming to pursue veterinary studies, optometry, medicine or physiotherapy, the Bachelor of Pre-Medicine, Science and Health provides a solid foundation on which to build your dream career.
Depending on which major/minor a student chooses, this course also leads to a wide range of postgraduate study or professional career options in the physical and life sciences, allied health or health informatics.
This three-year degree explores core content for medical school entry including academic literacy, critical thinking skills and an understanding of what it takes to be a successful health practitioner.
Any student (Domestic or International) in the Bachelor of Pre-Medicine, Science and Health, with a weighted GPA of 6.5 or above, who has met the minimal entry requirements for all other criteria, and selected the University of Wollongong (UOW) as the first preference will be guaranteed an interview for the UOW Doctor of Medicine (MD).
Applicants need an indicative ATAR of 90.00 and have studied mathematics and any two units of a science – chemistry and biology are recommended. Students must apply through www.uac.edu.au and the UAC course code is 757500.
