Principal's update

Hello everyone, 

Here is the final school newsletter for term four and 2025. 

School dismissal today is at 1.00pm

We finish the term with lots of thank you messages. Thank you to all of the school staff for the dedicated and passionate work to support the students at the School. Thank you to the School Council, Parents and Friends and the volunteers who all make a very meaningful contribution to the school, as well as everyone else who is able to contribute to making the school the wonderful place that it is.

Today we farewell three of our staff members Dana, Scout and Charmaine who are all moving on to new adventures. I wish to thank all three for the amazing contribution they have made to Taradale PS and wish them all the best for the future.We also farewell our graduating grade six students and other students who are also leaving us, I also wish those students all the best for an amazing future. Departing students also means we have some families who are leaving us - some after many, many years at Taradale. We will miss you and hope to see you around.

I hope everyone has an enjoyable summer break.

School staff resume work on Tuesday 27 January and students begin school on Thursday 29 January.

OSH care in 2026

In 2026 we will be welcoming a news OSH provider - OSHC Adeverntures to our school.

OSHC Adventures are localy based and are providing OSHC services at other schools in the area. The attached flyer below provides further information

Families and Caregivers can now jump on www.oshcadventures.com.au and enrol via the enrol now page which will link into the software. There are many help guides on the website to help anyone out if they have any trouble, most of these are video guides which explain step by step. We are more than happy to help families with enrolment - if they could email admin@oshcadventures.com.au over the holiday period. 

Last day of term

The last day of term and the school year is Friday 19 December, dismissal will be at 1.00pm.

• 29 Janaury - all students year Prep-six start school
