Leadership Update

Welcome to Term 4

It has been great to see students return from the holidays ready to learn. Term 4 is an 11 week term, with plenty of learning and activities ahead. Please continue to check Compass for school information and reminders.

During Term 4, all students are required to wear a school broad brimmed hat when outside. Students without a broad brimmed hat will be asked to play under the covered walkway.

Throughout the term, the Art Room may be open at lunchtime for quiet activities. The Library may also open when additional supervision is available, providing another space for quiet play, particularly on hotter days.

School Review

On Thursday 22nd October, we held the first day of our school review. The review panel celebrated South Geelong Primary School’s successes over the past four years and conducted classroom observations, student focus groups and a parent and carer focus group.

Our second review day will take place on Tuesday 27th October and will include staff focus groups and the development of our key improvement strategies for the next four years.

A big thank you to the parents and carers who attended the focus group. We greatly appreciate your time and feedback.

Geelong Show Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser

A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped organise and run the Rotary Club BBQ at the Geelong Show. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated, and the funds raised will support our inclusive playground project.

We look forward to sharing the total amount raised once it has been finalised.
