Year 10s Conducting Energy Auditing

STUDENTS HAVE BEEN BUZZING AROUND AUDITING OUR ENERGY USEAGE

 

On Tuesday 10th October, the Year 10 Environment of the Earth class conducted an audit on Kambrya’s energy usage. They were assigned classrooms and offices around the school and sent off in groups to get a representative picture of our energy habits. We also had Emma from ResourceSmart Schools to lend a hand and equipment such as lux metres and infrared thermometers to get more accurate measurements. 

Students are now underway analysing all the data they collected and writing up recommendations to improve our energy efficiency across the school. They will have the opportunity to present their reports to school leadership next week.
