Safety & Wellbeing Festival
Our second Safety & Wellbeing Festival took place last weekend. Organised by our dedicated Student Wellbeing Action Group (SWAG) in collaboration with the Moorabbin Police, the event brought together the community in a spirit of unity, positivity, and a shared commitment to safety and wellbeing.
We were fortunate to have a kind and sunny day, setting the perfect stage for a day filled with student performances, the stirring sounds of bagpipes, and an array of displays and activities.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the officers from the Crime Prevention Unit of Moorabbin Police, who worked tirelessly alongside us to ensure the festival's success. Their dedication to community safety was evident in every aspect of the event.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the exhibitors who generously shared their time, resources, and expertise, making this festival a truly enriching experience for all attendees.
We must also acknowledge the remarkable efforts of our students and staff. Their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm were the driving force behind the success of the festival. From preparing captivating performances to ensuring the smooth flow of activities, they demonstrated an exceptional level of dedication and teamwork.
A special shout-out goes to Vivienne Woollett and her team of helpers for running an outstanding Cake stall. The delicious treats they offered were a highlight for many, adding a sweet touch to the day's festivities. We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed by baking delectable goods, donating prizes, purchasing raffle tickets, and joining us on the day.
We look forward to building on this success and continuing to work together to foster a safe and thriving environment for all.
