Dear Parents and Friends

What a great day we all had on Friday! It was wonderful to see so many people attend our special assembly celebrating 50 Years in Catholic Education for Irene. She certainly enjoyed the celebration and was touched by all who were able to attend or reached out.

This was followed by another wonderful Trivia Night! Thanks to the crew who spent time organising the evening, Zoe, Marisa, Lindsay, Maria, Kara and Suzannah. Thanks also to our hosts for the evening Ali and Matt!

As I write this we are enjoying another great day, with all things Italian. Thanks to Franco and his team for their work in organising today, with lots of activities and a parade through town with our masks!

Upcoming Events

Please see Diary Dates below for the upcoming events this term. Including School Athletics Day, End of Year Mass, End of Year Celebration and Graduation.

Pupil Free Day

On Monday 1st December we have our final Pupil Free Day for the year. Staff will be planning for 2026.

I am aware that this was communicated at the end of last year and the beginning of the year, however, has not been communicated in our term dates or newsletter. Apologies for this oversight.

I ask families who may have concerns with supervision for your children on this day to reach out to me.

End of Year Mass and Morning Tea

All parents and Parishioners are invited to attend our End of Year Mass and Morning Tea. Mass will be at 9am on Friday 28th November and is a special time to celebrate and reflect on what we have achieved in 2025. The Mary and Brigid Group are hosting a Morning Tea afterwards and we would love to see you there!

"Share the Dignity" is a charity that provides dignity to homeless and abused women in the form of essential toiletry items. Our School has supported this charity before and we are doing so once again this year. A lovely lady from Quercus Op Shop kindly made 20 bags for us to fill with essential items. During the next 2 weeks we ask that children bring one or more of the following items.... Shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, bodywash or soap, deodorant (roll on is preferred), any type of unopened period product, combs, brushes, face washers, tissues. All items must be new and in their original packaging. They can be dropped off in the box in the school foyer by Wednesday 26th November. These bags will give hope and dignity to a woman or girl spending Christmas in a domestic violence refuge or homelessness shelter.

Thankyou. Linda and Irene on behalf of the Mary and Brigid Social Justice Group.
