Assessment and Reporting

Our staff are about to begin the assessment phase to ensure we can accurately report on each student’s progress. Below is an overview of the information that will be included in our Semester 2 reports:

• Work Habits – Ratings for effort and behaviour.
• English Overview – A summary of the curriculum covered and six achievement statements describing each student’s progress.
• Mathematics Overview – A summary of the curriculum covered and six achievement statements describing each student’s progress.
• Inquiry Overview – A description of the topics and skills explored this semester.
• Specialist Subjects – An overview of the learning in P.E., Art and STEAM, including a personal comment for each student.
• Personal and Social Development – Ratings for independence and alignment with our ASPIRE values.
• Personal Comment – Individual comments on each student’s work habits, personality, and behaviour.
• Attendance – A record of the total number of days each student has been absent or late during the term.

Reports will be published on Compass on the final day of Term 4.

School Camp

On Friday 31st October, our students returned from Bayview Adventure Camp in Grantville after an amazing experience. They enthusiastically participated in all activities and had wonderful things to say about the staff, facilities, and especially the food.

The children's behaviour throughout the camp was outstanding, with camp staff consistently commenting on how polite and well-mannered our students were.

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff who went above and beyond to ensure the camp was such a success.

Workforce Planning & 'Up Day'

In the coming weeks, we will be finalising our staffing profile and placing students in their classes for next year. Students will find out this information on Tuesday 9th December when they transition into their new classes on our annual ‘Up Day’.
