(Assistant) Principal's News

With Robyn away and our Year 6 students up in the NT, I've taken over the Principal's News section of the newsletter!

Term 2 has hit the ground running! A mural painted, mindfulness and government incursions, cross country, an HPR race, Book Fair, Mother's Day breakfast and pamper sessions, Mother's Day lunch, Year 2 Swimming and a group of Year 6 students flying up to the NT.... and we are only in Week 4!

Mother's Day Lunch

The Mother's Day Lunch was another huge success! It was great to see our school community of Mothers and Grandmothers pack out Caulfield Racecourse and enjoy a lovely lunch whilst also raising much appreciated funds for the school. A massive thank you to the entire organising committee who worked tirelessly to bring the whole event together, with a special thanks to Kate and Shelley for leading the charge.

For any auction prize winners, please remember to collect your items from Robyn's office at the following times this week:

Thursday - 8:45am - 9:15am | 3:15pm - 3:45pm

Friday - 8:45am - 9:15am | 3:15pm - 3:45pm

Education Week

Education Week for 2026 takes place next week and to celebrate, Malvern Primary School will be open to family and friends next Thursday 21st May, from 9:00am-10:30am.

Visitors are welcome to come into the classrooms and see our Literacy and Numeracy lessons in action! To avoid any bottlenecks of signing-in at the front office, there will be QR codes on each classroom door. We ask all visitors to fill this out prior to walking into the classroom.

For anyone planning to visit, we will be keeping the gates unlocked until 10:30am as recess begins at 10:40am. So please plan accordingly if you're planning on coming along for the day.

We look forward to seeing as many of you that can make it next week for our open morning!
