COMMUNITY SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS
Congratulations to Elijah L (2MH) on achieving his Peak Award in Joey Scouts recently. This is the highest award at this level.
Well done! 💪🏼
Congratulations to Jimmy P (1KO), who played his first-ever game for his St Mary’s Under 8s team, the Kookas. He played a fantastic game, topped off by being awarded the Best on Ground medal.
Well done! 💪🏼
Congratulations to Eliza B (2TS) on playing her first official footy game! She was the only girl in her Under 9s team and had a fantastic match - taking two strong marks, getting plenty of kicks, and even marking in front of goal and kicking truly. She was also awarded Opposition Player of the Match by Panton Hill.
Well done! 💪🏼
If your child achieves something special (grand final win, most valuable player award, best and fairest etc.), please email me (jordan.daley@education.vic.gov.au) through photos and an overview of the achievement to post in Contact. It is important to celebrate and recognise such successes with the school community.
Thank you,
Jordan Daley

HELPERS NEEDED
If you have a spare hour on a Wed, Thurs or Fri between 1pm and 2pm, come along and help in the canteen. There is no food preparation involved, it's very simple and the kids love seeing parents there!

Helpers get a canteen voucher for their kids to use for their next lunch order!
Thank you

OFFICE NEWS
STUDENT PICK UP
The office team would like to politely remind parents to avoid picking students up during recess (10.55 – 11.25) and lunchtime (1.30pm - 2.20pm) where possible. Picking up just before or after these times is preferable as students struggle to hear or listen to announcements during play time and classrooms are locked during these times, so it is logistically difficult for children to collect their bags.
LOST PROPERTY
We have a lot of unlabelled uniform that ends up in lost property, which we cannot return. Lost property is checked weekly by the office, named items are returned to classrooms via the pigeonholes.
