District Cross Country Success – Manifold Heights Primary School

We are incredibly proud of our 40 students who recently represented Manifold Heights Primary School at the District Cross Country event held at the Geelong Racecourse. Despite facing very challenging, windy conditions throughout the day, our students demonstrated outstanding determination, resilience, and sportsmanship.

Competing against some of the strongest runners from across the district, our team rose to the occasion. Many of our runners achieved impressive results, with a large number finishing in the top 10–15 in their respective age groups—an outstanding accomplishment at this level of competition.

What stood out most was not just the results, but the attitude and effort shown by every student. From the starting line to the final stretch, our runners pushed themselves, supported one another, and represented our school with pride. The difficult weather conditions made the course even more demanding, yet our students embraced the challenge and refused to give in.

Congratulations to the below students who have progressed onto Divisional level on Tuesday 19th of May:

Aston Stefanovski

Eli Byers

Leo Baxter

Indie Luke

Annie Kelly

Asher Donaldson

Jace Veale

Preston Davys

Seb Saarinen

A big thank you to staff and families who supported the team on the day—your encouragement plays a vital role in these experiences.

Congratulations again to all students involved. You should be extremely proud of your efforts and the way you represented Mano Primary School. We look forward to seeing many of you continue your cross country journey in the future!
