✨ TERM 1 UPDATE ✨
It’s been a fantastic start to the year for the P&C. Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve been up to and what’s coming up…
P&C AGM
Our AGM was held on 18 February, and it was wonderful to see so many new faces alongside familiar ones.
We’re delighted to introduce the 2026 P&C Committee:

House Tees ❤️💚💛💙
The House Tees have been a massive hit! Thank you to everyone who placed an order, for kids and grown-ups alike. Stay tuned for delivery details soon.
Community Building Event
A big thank you to the amazing volunteers who helped run the BBQ and Zooper Dooper stall at the Community Building Event. It was such a lovely way to kick off the year.
We raised just under $1,000 for the school. Fantastic effort.

WGAC Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who supported the Who Gives A Crap fundraiser by stocking up on toilet paper essentials. It’s a simple way to save money and support the school at the same time.
A huge thank you to Ange Perkin for coordinating this initiative.

Grade 3/4 Bake Sale
The first of our end-of-term bake sales is almost here. Excitingly, the bake sale is raising funds for new library furniture.

Open Streets Coffee Morning
We’ll be firing up the coffee machine during Open Streets. Swing by for a cuppa and soak up the Open Street vibes. Thanks to the volunteers who have signed up to help.

Mother’s & Special Person’s Day
One of the highlights of the Merri-bek calendar is just around the corner, featuring the School Breakfast, hamper raffle and much-loved Gift Stall.
📅 8 May
We’re currently looking for contributions to the Gift Stall. If you’re a keen baker, crafter or gardener, we’d love your help. Think jams, cookies, plants, or handmade goodies that make perfect gifts for special someones.
